Barnes & Noble

It’s not incredibly exciting, but Barnes & Noble considers local support requests from non-profit organizations that focus on literacy, the arts or education at the pre-K to grade 12 level.

These usually take the form of sponsorships and/or donations and are arranged through local stores. Opportunities must be located in the surrounding community and serve the greater good of the local community or region.

Fundraising opportunities include in-store bookfairs and holiday gift-wrapping.
B&N “seeks partnerships that offer in-store events, visibility, and reach a wide audience.”

Programs are set up at the store level, and inquiries should be directed to the store manager or community relations manager. Store locator. Connecticut has 13 stores:
  • Canton
  • Danbury
  • Enfield
  • Farmington
  • Glastonbury
  • Manchester
  • Milford
  • North haven
  • Norwalk
  • Stamford
  • Waterbury
  • West Hartford
  • Westport
