National Center for Family Literacy Library Grants

The Better World Books and the National Center for Family Literacy rewards libraries that have exceptional family programming with the ‘Libraries and Families Award.’

There will be three $10,000 grant awards, one in each of these categories:

• local friends of the library programs
• public/academic libraries
• urban libraries

Deadline: November 12, 2010

Recipients also receive funds for attending the 2011 National Conference on Family Literacy April 3-5 in scenic (and home of the famed IronMan race) Louisville, KY.
