In 2012 the winners were remarkable, meaningful projects from a 16-year-old NJ kid who created a Special Needs Athletic
Program, a California ‘Teen Club’ to educate and support young teens with Down
syndrome, a Pennsylvania ‘Upcycling’ program where children of all different
levels helped the environment and those less fortunate, a Maryland military community’s
program where parents bring kids to school one evening a month to attend
Culture Camp and parents can attend a fun networking event to help develop
relationships and support with fellow parents, and a community clothes closet
where foster kids can shop and find just the right outfits for them.
