NEH: Institutes for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities

The IfATinDH grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities support national or regional (multistate) training programs for scholars and advanced graduate students to broaden and extend their knowledge of digital humanities. Through these programs, NEH seeks to increase the number of humanities scholars using digital technology in their research and to broadly disseminate knowledge about advanced technology tools and methodologies relevant to the humanities.

The potential applicant pool for this program is limited, since applications require a high degree of institutional commitment to the project and often require the availability of facilities such as participant housing and computer laboratories. An average of 36% of applicants are funded.

Deadline = March 7, 2013.
