Lowe's Toolbox for Education Program


Public K-12 schools (or nfp’s associated with them) can apply to the Lowe’s Toolbox for Education Program for between $2,000 and $5,000 in funding.

Lowe's plans to donate $5 million to schools and school parent teacher groups at more than 1,000 different schools during the school year.

Information and applications are on the program website

Deadline: October 12, 2012 5pm EST. However, if 1500 applications are received before the application deadline, then the application process will close.
Reading gardens, vegetable gardens, physical fitness areas, school landscaping projects, school nature trails, parent involvement centers, peer tutoring centers, playgrounds, and rotating student art exhibits are all given as example projects.
