Turning Foundation's Community College Classroom Improvement Technology Grant



The Turning Foundation is accepting applications for the Fall 2012 Community College Classroom Improvement Technology Grant. The goal of this effort is to help instructors develop 21st century classrooms and improve student outcomes by providing effective, engaging technology from an industry-leading company.

Turning Technologies will provide grant winners with a 32-seat classroom response system complete with the following:

POLLING SOFTWARE: TurningPoint® offers advanced capabilities with the same user experience on Mac & PC. RESPONSE SOLUTIONS: ResponseCard® NXT clickers provide self-paced test mode for individual assessment. Designed with an angled LCD screen, students have optimum views of answer submissions. In addition, 1 year ResponseWare® licenses will be awarded, giving students the option to respond from any mobile device in addition to clickers. ResponseWare is a web-enabled solution that turns any Internet-connected device into a mobile response solution.

IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT: A complimentary three part webinar training series will be made available to all grant winners. In addition, recipients will be invited to attend an informative best practice pedagogical webinar hosted by a Turning Technologies’ Distinguished Educator. Webinars will introduce unique uses to help enhance the user experience with response
