Claneil Foundation Special Project Fund
The Special Project Fund of the Claneil Foundation provides seed funding to emerging nonprofits, or to new projects of established organizations in the areas of education; environment; health and human services; and hunger and nutrition.
Applications accepted on an ongoing basis, but organizations need to submit a letter of intent (LOI). LOIs are reviewed in two cycles, with deadlines on December 1 (spring) and June 30 (fall).
More information, including a list of past grantees.
General Guidelines for Letter of Intent: The letter of intent should describe your organization (please include the size of your operating budget), and the purpose for which funding is being sought. Include the total project costs and the requested grant amount. Please conserve your resources and do not submit additional materials with the letter of intent.
