Though the site is a little vague on specifics, the Humana Foundation Community Grants support charitable activities that promote healthy lives and communities. It's worth a look if your idea meshes with one or more of the Foundation's three health-related giving focuses:
- Childhood health and education
- Health literacy
- Active lifestyles
Applications accepted from November 1 through June 15.
We also look for projects that are innovative, replicable, have prospects for long-term sustainability and measureable outcome, located in areas where Humana has a strong business presence.
