STOP Act Grants: prevent and reduce alcohol use among youth age 12-20


STOP Act Grants are sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). 

STOP stands for Sober Truth on Preventing Underage Drinking, and these grants are designed to prevent and reduce alcohol use among youth age 12-20.

Approximately 78 grants of up to $50,000 per year will be awarded to select applicants. Public and private nonprofit organizations that are current or former Drug Free Communities Support Program (DFC) grantees are eligible to apply.

  1. Life today is getting harder, adults and teens are facing too much problems that couldn’t be answered if cooperation and determination is not achieved. STOP is going to help a lot of teens straighten up their lives away from alcohol use. Alcohol as reported has become one of the reasons why teens become violent and if you search the net you will see the records.
