School Mental Health Education Grants: Typical or Troubled?


School Mental Health EducationGrants are sponsored by the American PsychiatricFoundation and are designed to implement the Typical or Troubled? educational model in communities nationwide. This educational presentation is the core of the program and is designed to be presented by teachers, administrators, counselors or school social workers in partnership with psychiatrists or other mental health professionals. The educational tools also encourage learning and dialogue with parents about their teen’s mental health and how to support their emotional well-being.

Multiple awards of up to $2,500 will be granted to select applicants. 


Community organizations, schools, and school districts are eligible to apply.
