The P. Buckley Moss Foundation awards National Educators Grants.
These grants, up to $1,000, will support a new or evolving program that integrates the arts into educational programming. The purpose is to aid and support teachers who wish to establish an effective learning tool using the arts in teaching children who learn differently.

Teacher Awards for Literacy

The Random House Teacher Awards recognize the nation's most dynamic and resourceful K-12 public school teachers who use their creativity to inspire and successfully instill a love of reading in students. The winning teachers will be awarded grants to help them make their innovative reading programs possible. The first place winner will receive $10,000; second place $5,000, and third place $2,500. Winners will be notified in advance of the annual NCTE meeting. In addition to grant monies, the first place winner's conference registration, travel, and lodging will be covered.

Toshiba American Foundation Grants for Grades K-5
The Toshiba American Foundation Grants for GradesK-5 is sponsored by the Toshiba America Foundation's Mission.
Grants are intended to provide teachers with additional funds to support classroom projects. After school and summer projects, and independent study projects are not eligible. The Foundation strongly encourages projects planned and led by individual teachers or teams of teachers for their own classrooms.
Any K-5 teacher in a public or private (nfp) school is eligible for a grant to support science or math education.
Deadline: October 1, 2013. Award Maximum: $1,000.00
